OUTLINE:Designed for physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, health care professionals, coaches & athletic therapists working with recreational or elite runners on improving efficiency of running mechanics and reducing the risk of reoccurring injuries. The course is fun & dynamic; real-case study of runners on treadmill and full of hands-on drills and exercises.
~ Increasing knowledge in detecting movement patterns in runners and running specific functional anatomy.
~ Maximizing technical skills in running biomechanics, faulty movement patterns and how to provide drills and specific exercises to enhance proper technique and efficiency.
~ Building strength & endurance specific to runners.
Course Presenter: Chloë Lanthier, MS Sc/Human Performance
Chloë is the director of the X-Training School and has been dedicated in developing innovative programs for two decades in sports rehabilitation, human performance and athletic conditioning in both Europe and North America. She has extensive experience working with the elite athletes.
Chloë has been an elite mountain runner/mountain biker for over two decades.
