We are committed to providing quality rehabilitation services to our clients in Sublette County. We have two convenient locations in Sublette County. Serving northern Sublette County in Pinedale, adjacent to the Sublette Center, and southern Sublette County in downtown Marbleton.

Sue Holz

 

Susan graduated from the University of Colorado Health Science Center in 1984 with a degree in Physical Therapy and finished her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University. She also has a degree in Zoology from the University of Wyoming. She has experience in orthopedic, neurological, pediatric and geriatric clients. She has had the pleasure of owning and operating Proactive Rehabilitation since 1989. Her specialties include foot and hand patients, and pediatrics, but she enjoys all areas of physical therapy.

"In a rural setting, we treat all types of patients, all ages, and in varied locations. It is changing and fascinating all the time - we love it!"

Todd has been working for Proactive Rehabilitation since 1996 and is a Physical Therapist Assistant. Todd also has a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado. He has experience in pediatrics to geriatrics, and orthopedics to neurological disorders.

"I enjoy working with a wide variety of patients which a rural private clinic affords. What's more is working with a great staff that is dedicated to providing the best possible care and helping people become well again."

Jeanne M. Raney

Jeanne Raney

Jeanne is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and has a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked in school and hospital settings with both acute and chronic clients with a variety of diagnoses. She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.

 


Terri has been enjoying her career as a Physical Therapist for the past 8 years. A Wyoming native, Terri graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1988 with a degree in Zoology. In 1989, she earned her science teaching degree and taught for several years. She changed careers in 1996 and graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Terri has worked in a wide variety of settings and with people of all ages and with varied diagnosis.

Virginia Mika
Occupational Therapist

Virginia Mika

Virginia received a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University in California in 2001. She also has a Bachelors degree in French and Geography from the State University of New York at Genesio. Virginia's experience has primarily been in the areas of adult rehabilitation in acute, long-term care and home health settings. She has been working for Proactive Rehabilitation since July, 2003. Her professional interests also include working with children. Her masters research involved using integrative play groups to help children with disabilities learn social and play skills.

Tanya Smith


Tanya has dual certifications in orthopeadic manual  therapy trained in Perth, Australia and International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine. She obtained a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2006. She is currently an adjunct faculty at Texas Tech and Associate Researcher in advanced orthopeadic medicine, as well as a clinician at Proactive Rehabilitation. Tanya has practices as an outpatient orthopeadic manual therapist since 1994 after obtaining her Master of Science in P.T. from the University of the Pacific. She has specialty training in spine and non-surgical diagnosis and managment of various musculoskeletal disorders.

Elizabeth Boehm
Physical Therapist Assistant

Betty returned to school for a second career as a physical therapist assistant. Betty graduated from Salt Lake Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree and has been on staff at Proactive since December 2006.

Betty is planning to become certified as a personal trainer in November of 2007 and looks forward to adding to her education through a variety of continuing education classes.
